Here is the plan for next week along with hints for the quiz on Monday. The quiz will  take questions both from the earthquake notes we did on Wednesday AND the Hazards sheet you completed on Monday.

-Quiz: 1) Know what the Richter scale measures.
           2) Be able to explain what a tsunami is
           3) Which moves faster a P or S wave?
           4) When was the last major earthquake in Vancouver?
           5) Where do most earthquakes in the world occur?
           6) What do we call a scientist who studies earthquakes?


Throughout the week you need to complete the following assignments:
1) Rock Cycle Comic
2) Earthquake Assignment
3) Volcano Types sheet (from Friday)
4) Volcanic Features -Assignment sheet HERE (Will be checked for completion)
5) Volcanic Hazards (work in a group to create a ppt) - We will present these on Thursday so they must be ready to go by then.

We will spend Monday-Wednesday in the computer lab C127

Thursday: hazards presentations
Friday: Volcano Movie (Where you will see my dream job!)
